A Treat Worth Sharing

These past few weeks have been critical for the development of Soul Reaper, and it’s been an exhilarating experience to say the least! We’ve been conversing with friends, relatives, playtesters, and developers alike; moving us one step closer in delivering an awesome gaming experience. The feedback we’ve received from the playtests has been monumental in shaping the game for the better, and we’ve been given some amazing advice from the community since we’ve reignited our social media presence.

We want Soul Reaper’s first foray onto the marketplace to be successful, and for it to leave a positive, lasting impression on those who buy it.

That being said, we’ve learned that nowadays, many users treat the Early Access launch of a game as the launch of the game. The moment Soul Reaper hits the digital shelves is the moment it has to shine, Early Access or not.

Hence, after careful deliberation, we’ve decided to release a free, Open Beta of Soul Reaper on October 31st. Instead of paying for what would have been the first Early Access build, you’ll now have access to it for free!

We’re taking this opportunity to accumulate feedback on the game, so make sure to swing by our Steam community sometime during the Beta. You’ll have access to our bug submission form, and you’re free to list suggestions for the game too! We want to make Soul Reaper as good as it can possibly be, and with your help, we can definitely make that a reality!

While we don’t have a specific date as to how long the Beta will last, we’re aiming to transition into Early Access sometime within the first quarter of 2020. Until then, make sure to grab the download from our official website while it lasts! The download link will go live October 31st, and will be linked in a corresponding Dev Blog on Thursday.
